Data Appending Options

A data append matches identifiers in your customer file against reference sources and returns available missing fields. Choose email, phone, household or company attributes to support a defined CRM task. Coverage depends on the input and product; an unmatched row must remain distinguishable from a completed record.

Choose the Matching Level

Contact appending may link to an individual, household, company or location. Confirm which entity each value describes and whether it is reported, compiled or modeled. A household estimate is not a verified fact about every resident.

Protect Trusted Values

Keep customer-supplied values separate from results until reviewed. Agree on fill-only or alternative outputs. Matching does not establish outreach permission; retain opt-outs and apply channel requirements.

Data Quality Before Import

Use stable record IDs and a field dictionary for data review. Ask how ambiguous and missing values appear, which quality checks are included and how results map into your CRM software. Reconcile counts and sample rows before updating the database.

Coverage and Billing

Coverage depends on identifier quality, record age and reference sources.

Confirm the matching rules, duplicate handling, billing unit and minimum before ordering.

For accurate data, provide complete names, recent data and standardized addresses. Flag missing ZIP codes, unit details and mixed household or individual data before processing.

How the Process Runs

  1. Send a CSV or Excel sample to confirm possible appends.
  2. Confirm test-match options, matching level and billing unit.
  3. You approve, we process the full file.
  4. Reconcile matched, unmatched and exception records before importing.

Your file stays your file. We do not add your records to any list we sell.

Prepare the Source File

Resolve duplicates and incomplete identifiers first. Keep an original copy and define blank-value handling. Identify the customers or accounts you need to update; reliable data starts with a clear matching unit.

Before the Full Import

Database Checks

Test a small set in the target database before applying the full result. Confirm that corporate records stay separate from personal contacts and that existing values remain recoverable. Missing employment information needs its own supported field and update definition; a matched phone number alone does not verify someone’s current role.
